The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway announced its decision to join the EU sanctions against Russian economy.

“Norway will apply the same restrictive measures as the EU imposed on 31 July”, – said Foreign Minister of Norway Berge Brand.

To the list of sanctions will be included companies and individuals whose assets would be frozen, and banned entry to the territory of Norway. There also will be a ban on the import of goods from the Crimea and Sevastopol and on the import of Russian weapons.

Ban will be imposed on the export of the products used in deep-water oil exploration or extraction of oil, in the search for oil in the Arctic.
Let’s remind, on July 30, the EU has imposed sanctions on the inner circle of Vladimir Putin and a number of Russian companies. Under the sanctions are Putin’s friends: businessmen Arkady Rotenberg, Yuriy Kovalchuk, Nikolai Shamalov.
