The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko discussed with the heads of law enforcement agencies for further action in the ATO and noted that currently tactic is to “cut the territories that are controlled by the terrorists, in the zone, tight narrow ring and don’t give opportunities for the delivery of weapons and ammunition”. “Today we need to make a regrouping of forces, which will ensure the protection of our territory and the continuation of the offensive actions of the army”, he said.

Poroshenko also noted that information about the entrance the territory of Ukraine 1200 trained fighters and heavy military equipment from “the Eastern side of our neighbor” is confirmed. Part of this equipment was destroyed, and the rest measures for its destruction are being taken.

Reportedly, the Head of state stressed that today the challenge is to cut the supply of terrorists with mercenaries, new armament, ammunition, because through uncontrolled border areas continues their receipt.
