It became clear, that military plane arrived from Canada, but about its cargo told Stephen Harper, the prime minister of this country, on his official site.

“The answer of Canada on Russian militaristic expansion in the Eastern regions of Ukraine was fast, unambiguous and purposeful”, – noted Stephen Harper and added: “According to our values and principles, which all Canadians value, I am proud of that important mission we excepted in international community, having acted against Russian aggression by imposing of sanctions to aggressor and supporting Ukrainian economic. Today the plane C-130 of Military Forces of Canada took off the base in Trenton, to deliver in Ukraine military ammunition and equipment, which will help the army to protect from Russian aggression on Ukrainian Eastern border”. It is, according to Canadian prime minister, will help Ukrainian soldiers to save their lives and health.

We remind that on Thursday August 7, with official visit the General Secretary of NATO Anders Von Rasmussen had arrived to Kiev. He held meetings with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

Following the results of negotiations, Anders Von Rasmussen made the official statement, in which once again he called the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to refuse against aggressive plans relatively Ukraine and to stop supporting terrorists with deliveries of arms and new groups of fighters.

The General Secretary emphasized that NATO will go on helping Ukraine with fight for its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
