The Ukrainian government asked the United States and NATO to send to the Donbass, where anti-terrorist operation is ongoing their combat aviation. About it reports Polish Agency PAP citing a senior Polish diplomat who participates in the negotiations, held in the framework of the NATO summit, which takes place on 4-5 September. “Kiev would like the US and NATO to take part in the conflict with Russia as they do in Kurdistan, where flights of combat aviation are carried out upon the Islamic state”, the Agency said.

However, according to the source, Ukraine shouldn’t expect that at the NATO summit, the decision will be applied, on granting “any military support” to Kiev. The interlocutor of the Agency notes that the summit participants will discuss the issues of arms supplies in Ukraine, noting that in the fact, even now there is no prohibition to sell arms to Ukrainians, and such decision can be taken by each of the States of the Alliance. As UNIAN reported last weekend, after Ukraine accused Russia in overt aggression and entering their regular troops in the Donbass, President Barak Obama stated that the US doesn’t consider “the possibility of a military solution” of the conflict, and “does not seek a military confrontation” with Russia.
