Ukrainian government is not going to fund territories which are under insurgents’ control – Yatsenyuk

Due to war in Ukraine the Cabinet of Ministers is not going to send subsidies to the territories which are under armed supporters of the so-called “People’s republics” in the Donbass.
This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine – reports “Ukrainska pravda”.

“Until the territories are controlled by impostors, the government won’t provide subsidies there” – the Prime Minister declared.
“If Russian terrorists go away from Donetsk and Lugansk regions, we will immediately pay to every person the social benefit to which he is entitled” – he added.
According to the Prime Minister, sending funds to the territory which is controlled by terrorists, it means that “the funds will be stolen by Russian gangsters, and people will not receive them”.

On these territories which are under insurgents’ control, the subsidies amount 19.6 billion UAH – in Donetsk region, and 14.6 billion UAH – Lugansk region, – the agency “UNIAN” quotes Yatsenyuk.
That Ukraine has to provide a certain blocking of occupied territories, at the meeting of the Council of national security and defense of Ukraine, November 4, stated the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
“At the moment we have to, as Ukrainian state, in order to prevent spreading of this cancer, to ensure a certain blocking of this area” – the President said.
